Mae’s Journey
Monday 28th JulTo my friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers.
My sister, Georgia & her partner Jason have just received the news, that our beautiful 22-month-old niece Mae, (has been diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) - a type of blood cancer that will require intensive treatment over the next few years.
Since July 2015, their world has been turned upside down, as Mae was transferred from the Royal Alexandra Hospital and admitted to St. George’s Hospital, now transferred to the Royal Marsden. She has begun her treatment journey with courage, bravery & support from her family & friends. But nothing could have prepared them for this.
They are showing incredible strength and we would like to be able to raise money for the hospitals & Cancer research supporting her through this period of life.
During Mae’s journey, I/We will be joining several charity fundraising events. This one, a 50k run/walk in September is for The Royal Marsden.
