Hi guys, I’m doing it again.

Tuesday 12th May

For those who don’t know much about me, I live with triple negative cancer. It’s something I will carry with me for the rest of my life. They cannot remove it completely, but they are doing everything they can to contain it, and I will be under the care of the Royal Marsden for life.

Cancer has taken so much from me — my hair, my teeth, my strength. I now deal with trigger finger, weakness in my legs, and constant flickering in my eyes. I am not the person I used to be physically, and some days are harder than others.

But I refuse to let cancer define me or stop me from living my life.

No matter how weak I may feel at times, I choose to fight. I choose to keep going. I choose to stay positive, keep smiling, and keep pushing myself beyond my fears.

So here I am again, stepping out once more to conquer the fear that cancer tried to place over my life. I’m proving to myself that even through pain, setbacks, and uncertainty, I am still here, still fighting, and still determined to live every moment I can.
