Frequently asked questions
The Challenge
What is the challenge?
You can cover the distance in any way that works for you - run, walk, wheel, cycle, swim or a combination of them all – it’s up to you! This is your personal challenge, and we encourage everyone to adapt it to suit their needs and goals.
How do I sign up?
After registering, an online fundraising page will be automatically generated so you can start sharing the link with friends, family and colleagues for sponsorship.
Is there an entry fee?
Who can take part in the challenge?
You can take part individually or as part of a team. Why not cover some kilometres with colleagues or friends to help support you along the way? Make it social and enjoy some fresh air together!
When is the challenge?
Please note fitness tracking on the website will be enabled from 1 September.
Is there a deadline to sign up by?
Please note that kilometres will be counted from 1 September to 30 September, so the earlier you sign up, the more time you'll have to cover the distance.
Where is this challenge?
Just be sure to update your distance and post your progress on your fundraising page so friends and family can cheer you on and we can see how you're doing too!
How do I create a team?
You can also create a team after registration by logging in and clicking the ‘Create a team’ button on your dashboard.
How do I join a team?
Once a team has been created, you can also join at any time after registration by logging in, searching for your team page and clicking ‘Join us’. Make sure the team captain has set the team to ‘Public’ in the team page settings to allow others to join, and this button will appear on the page.
How does individual and team fundraising work?
When a team is formed, a separate team fundraising page is also created. Your sponsors can choose to donate either to an individual page or directly to the team page, depending on which link you share.
Is there a limit on the number of people who can join a team?
In a team, does everyone have to log their own distance or can it be done by one person centrally?
