Walk 50K in September
Twelve years ago, my life changed forever with a cancer diagnosis. What followed was a journey into the unknown—filled with uncertainty and challenges that continue to influence my life today. Recovery isn't something that ends; for me, it's a lifelong journey of rediscovery and reconnection, appreciating what truly matters, and being deeply grateful for the joy in every new day and the beauty in the natural world around us.
I owe so much to The Royal Marsden. The consultants, oncologists, nurses and every member of the team cared for me with extraordinary kindness. Their expertise, dedication and humanity gave me hope when I needed it most, and in so many ways they saved my life.
I’m taking part in this challenge to support The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity because I want to help ensure that others facing cancer can receive the same outstanding care, new treatments and hope that I was fortunate enough to experience.
