Every mile matters .. My marathon journey to raise fund for Cancer
Thursday 23rd JulEvery Mile Matters: My Marathon Journey to Help Fight Cancer
I’m taking on a marathon for a cause that is incredibly close to my heart.
Cancer isn’t just a word to me—it’s something that has touched my family and the people I care about most. I’ve seen the impact it has had on my dad, my sister, and my favourite teacher, Sr Irene. Watching them face this disease with such courage and strength has changed me forever.
I’m running this marathon in their honour and in support of everyone whose lives have been affected by cancer. I don’t want anyone else to experience the heartbreak of losing someone they love or watching them go through this difficult journey.
This challenge is about so much more than walking 50k. Every mile represents hope, strength, and the determination to help fund life-saving research and support for those who are fighting cancer today.
If you’re able to support my fundraising, no matter how big or small the donation, I would be truly grateful. Every contribution brings us one step closer to a future where fewer families have to face the pain that cancer brings.
Thank you for supporting me and for being part of this journey. Your kindness, encouragement, and generosity mean more than words can express.
Every mile I run is for my dad, my sister, Sr Irene, and every person and family whose lives have been touched by cancer. Together, we can make a difference.
