First Trek
Monday 17th AugOn September13th, I will be taking on my first ever Great Marsden Trek, which is around 26.2 miles of walking 🫠
This one means a lot to me. Many of you may know, I lost my grandma to cancer more than a decade ago, and it has taken me a long time to slowly come to terms with losing her. So being able to do something that helps support the incredible work of The Royal Marsden feels really special.
I will be doing it alongside my friend, which makes me feel a little less terrified! We have been training (kind of) and although I am nervous about the challenge, I am also really excited to be doing it for such an important cause.
I know those 26.2 miles are going to be a killer, but I am determined to get to the finish line!
I would really appreciate all the support, encouragement and luck you can spare 💗 I’m going to really need it! 😅
