Walking 50K for The Royal Marsden – In Memory of My Mum 💜

Thursday 23rd Jul
This September, I'll be taking on The Royal Marsden 50K Walking Challenge—a journey that means far more to me than simply crossing a finish line.

Four years ago, I lost my mum to cancer.

Although time has passed, the love I have for her and the memories we shared remain with me every single day.

Grief doesn't disappear; you simply learn to carry it.

This walk is my way of honouring her life, her strength, and the incredible person she was.
Cancer changes lives in an instant.

It affects not only those diagnosed but also the families who stand beside them through every appointment, every treatment, every moment of hope, and every heartbreak.

I know that journey all too well.

That's why I'm proudly supporting The Royal Marsden by walking 50 kilometres this September.

Every step I take will be in memory of my mum and in support of everyone currently facing cancer.

I hope that the money raised will help fund pioneering research, life-saving treatments, and compassionate care for patients and their families.

There will be moments when my legs are tired and my determination is tested, but I'll remember why I started.

I'll think of my mum's courage, her love, and the countless families who continue to fight this disease every day.

That will keep me moving forward.

If you're able to support my challenge—whether by donating, sharing my fundraising page, or simply cheering me on—it would mean the world to me.

Together, we can help bring hope to families and support the incredible work of The Royal Marsden.

This walk is for my mum.

This walk is for every family affected by cancer.

And this walk is for a future where more people survive, more families stay together, and more memories can be made.
Every step is for hope. Every step is for Mum. Every step matters. 💜
