Wednesday 23rd SepWhen I signed up for the Royal Marsden 50K Challenge, I didn't realise the biggest challenge would be starting a new role and losing my commute!
Since moving to a home-based role in September, I've discovered just how many "free" steps a commute gives you. It turns out you have to be much more intentional about getting out for a walk when the journey from home to 'office' is only a few metres. 😅
The upside is that it's encouraged me to get outside more, take proper breaks, and build a few healthier habits along the way.
So far, I've somehow managed to clock up over 100km and have raised £55 towards my £100 fundraising target. Thank you so much to everyone who has donated and supported me already. It really is appreciated.
The challenge isn't quite over yet either. I'm off to Disneyland Paris on Monday, so I'm fairly confident there are a few more kilometres still to be added before I finish! 🏰🚶♀️
