Walk 50K in September
I’m taking part in this challenge to support The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. They ensure The Royal Marsden’s world-leading nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world.
As 1 person in 2 will get cancer in their life time , what better way to try and combat this awful disease than sponsor someone to do this .
I have seen the effects of cancer both with happy outcomes and not so happy ones .
If my 21 yr old nephew who had a brain tumour at 2.5 yrs old can do the London Marathon then i am positive i can do 50 k in September.

Friday 26th Sep I've done it . I've done 54k.

Wednesday 3rd Sep Well we are on day 3 and it's all good , apart from the weather but never mind.
Getting ready
Thursday 14th Aug Well i have a few weeks to go before this begins, I have been walking quiet a bit . Have been to Edinburgh but not walked there. Lol. I walked 15 miles in 2 days and for someone who has had issues with her achilles that's not bad going . Bring on the 50 k in September . ShareThank you to my Sponsors
