Walk 50K in September
I’m taking part in this challenge to support The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. Cancer has touched my life, as it has many others. I lost a very close friend of mine in 2019 to brain cancer, and have tried my best to fundraise alongside cancer charities since. I even shaved my head in 2021 to raise money!Â
His birthday is in September, so the walk 50K challenge is aptly timed for me. I struggle this time of year with facing this loss, so hopefully immersing myself in long walks through nature makes the month pass faster.Â
