The big Trek
Wednesday 3rd JunThis year on the 13th of September, myself and some friends are taking on the challenge of walking 26.2 miles along the Surrey countryside to raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
Cancer affects millions of people and their families, and charities like The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity play a vital role in helping patients receive the best possible care, treatment, and support. The charity helps fund world-leading research, state-of-the-art equipment, and improvements to patient care, making a real difference in the lives of those facing cancer.
My motivation for supporting this cause is personal. The care provided by The Royal Marsden to people i hold close in my heart has been exceptional. Seeing the compassion, expertise, and support they have received has shown me firsthand the incredible impact that the charity and its work can have on individuals and families during some of their most difficult times.
By walking a marathon, I hope to raise both funds and awareness for a cause that touches so many lives. Every donation, no matter the size, helps support groundbreaking research and ensures patients continue to receive the outstanding care they deserve.
