Walk 50K in September
I'm taking on this 50km challenge to raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, helping to fund world-leading cancer research, treatment and care. The charity supports The Royal Marsden's nurses, doctors and researchers as they develop life-saving treatments and provide exceptional care to patients and their families.
My plan is to clock up as many kilometres as possible while on holiday this month, I hope a day at Disney alone will get me half way, aside from the trip I should get a little help from my training partner, Dory, who's already contributing significantly to the walking effort (although somewhat less to the fundraising).
Like many of us, I've seen the impact cancer can have on family, friends and colleagues, which makes this a cause that's close to my heart. Every donation, no matter the size, helps support the incredible work being done by The Royal Marsden.
So if you'd like to sponsor a combination of California sightseeing, Disney laps, Vegas step-counting and dog walking, I'd be hugely grateful!
