I'm amazed at how much has been donated in such a short space of time, and just want to say a huge thank you for donating, sharing, or even just looking at this page :)

When my friend got his diagnosis we were shocked, he's in his 20s, is healthy, and had very few symptoms. 

Since then, as much as I've tried to be there for him, I've felt pretty useless. We don't live in the same city, I can't attend all of his appointments with him, and it's not always safe for me to be with him whilst his immune system is compromised.

So, when I saw this fundraiser advertised in the hospital when I was last there with him for an appointment, I felt like it was something I could do. 

It might not change the rubbish time he has ahead of him during treatment, but we at least hope that it means others can get access to the support they need when they're going through their own rubbish times.
