A Social Purpose...

At Nationwide, we have always had a social purpose. Last year we embarked on a new social impact programme, Nationwide Fairer Futures, shaped by our purpose – Banking - but fairer, more rewarding, and for the good of society.​

Life can deal people an unfair hand at any time.  Nationwide Fairer Futures will help tackle four of the biggest issues we see in society today – youth homelessness, families living in poverty, people living with dementia and people affected by cancer. 

As part of Nationwide’s Commercial Team (the 'Red Hot Commercial Steppers'), I am hoping to raise as much money as possible for one of our Fairer Futures partners, The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, by walking 50km in September 2025.

The Royal Marsden’s world-leading nurses, doctors and research teams provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world.
