Walk 50K in September

I wasn't a patient at The Royal Marsden when I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2023, but without the work they do , funded by the   Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, I would not be here today. It's as simple, and as terrifying, and as wonderful as that. 

My oncologist was trained there. 

My chemo cocktail was  originally trialled there. 

My radiotherapy technique was tested there. 

My endocrine therapy was researched there.

My targeted therapy was proved beneficial for my stage and type of cancer there. 

Because of the   work that happens there, my three young children still have a mummy, and that is everything to me.

So I'm  joining the Royal Marsden 50K challenge to say 'Thank you so much' for everything you do , and to raise money so that more mummies and daddies, husbands and wives,  brothers and sisters, sons and daughters, and children can benefit from the  research and trials that happen there.
