Wednesday 8th JulIn little over 10weeks , I'll be taking on a marathon trek for Cancer Research UK in memory of my dad.
Losing him changed so much. There are days when grief feels impossibly heavy, and others when putting one foot in front of the other feels like the best way to carry it. Every training walk is a reminder of why I'm doing this.
It's not just about reaching the finish line.
It's about honouring the man who taught me resilience, kindness, and how to keep going even when life feels unfair.
He lost the use of his legs and would have given anything to walk again, he fought so hard and in his honour I need to use my working limbs, Challenge myself & raise for a fantastic cause
Some walks will be easy. Others will be sore, rainy, and full of blisters. But none of them will compare to what so many families face when cancer enters their lives.
