26.2 Miles, One Incredible Friend, and a Lot of Hope
Sunday 30th AugOn 13 September, I’ll be taking on The Big Marsden Trek — walking 26.2 miles across Surrey to raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. ❤️
I’m doing this alongside my friend Daiva, who is living with stage 4 triple-negative breast cancer. She is facing something no one should have to face, and yet she continues to show incredible strength and determination.
I’m walking for Daiva, for everyone currently living with cancer, and for the hope that better treatments and more breakthroughs can give to people in the future.
26.2 miles will definitely be a challenge, but it’s a small one compared with the challenges faced by people living with cancer every single day.
If you can spare £5, £10 or anything at all, I’d be incredibly grateful. Every donation can help support research, new treatments and better care — and ultimately give people like Daiva more hope.
