It's the final countdown!!!

Yes, we're now only hours away from the start line for the Big Trek!
Our rucksacks are packed with all the essentials we'll need to complete the 26.2 miles - protein bars, bananas, plasters, ibuprofen, waterproofs and sunglasses!
And the weather forecast for tomorrow looks perfect for us - sunny intervals and showers, which will allow us to walk at pace and hopefully make good time to the first checkpoint at the top of Box Hill.
Thank you so much for your incredibly generous donations - we are so thrilled that we've reached our new total of £2,500!
Please do share the link with anyone you know who would like the support the amazing work of The Royal Marsden. Their ground breaking research is changing the lives of those facing a cancer diagnosis every day.

That's Box Hill conquered!

On the big day, as we walk across the North Downs the highest point of the Marsden Trek is, of course, Box Hill.
The route will take us up the very steep incline to the top and to our first check in point, meaning we'll have completed about a third of the Trek.
In true Scout style, we wanted to be prepared for the challenge so Monday morning saw us heading off to tackle the climb.
We were joined by a couple of other Trekkers, who were also checking out the challenge and having reached the summit, we all enjoyed coffee, cake and the stunning views of Dorking and beyond!
A huge thank you to everyone who has donated - please do share the links to our pages as we look to smash our fundraising target!!!

We're taking part in The Big Marsden Trek

We're supporting The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. By donating to my page, their nurses, doctors, and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments. Together, we can save the lives of cancer patients everywhere. Please support me today.
