We love Marsden Hospitals

I am a care and support worker by day and, alongside my family's generally not-that-great genes, I have plenty of interactions with the medical profession.
This is why I am happy to say that I truly believe that The Marsden is worth every single penny being raised for them. From the kindness and compassion of their staff to their superior skills and diagnostics in dealing with the whole shebang of cancer care.
At my husband's most recent appointment at Marsden Chelsea, I noticed signage for The Big Marsden Trek and I thought, "What a great way to show our appreciation!".
So here I am, raising funds for this worthy cause.
It will be a bit of a challenge for me as it will be my first long trek and I have sustained many leg injuries over the years due to a car accident in my twenties but YOLO, right?
And I finally learned about the kind of rucksack I should be using for long walks after using rucksacks for years and getting it wrong! Gotta have a GOOD hip strap. Check the girth of the mofo in this photo :D
Anyway, please wish me luck and give generously to the marvellous Marsden <3
