challenging Business Services colleagues to get moving this September in support of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
Business Services organised events
Glasgow – 9 September
- My leadership team and I will be hosting an informal breakfast and 5K walk for colleagues based in and around Glasgow.
- The time will be confirmed shortly. Please look out for the invitation and accept it when it arrives so we can understand numbers and gather any dietary requirements.
Swindon – 23 September
- We'll also be hosting a Swindon-based group walk on 23 September (distance to be confirmed), giving us another opportunity to come together, build connections and collectively clock up some kilometres for the challenge.
- If you're unable to take part in the walk itself but would still like to get involved, there will be opportunities to support with logistics and event organisation on the day.
- Business Services Social: Following the Swindon walk, we'll be hosting a Business Services Social in the NH restaurant, with food, refreshments, and games for those who would like to network and spend time with colleagues.

I'd love to see as many colleagues as possible get involved and champion the campaign across your teams.
Last year, more than 2,200 colleagues took part and together we raised over £200,000. This year let's aim even higher.
Cancer affects every family, every generation, and every community. Around 45 people are diagnosed with cancer every hour in the UK, and one in two of us will receive a cancer diagnosis during our lifetime. Through our partnership, we're helping The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity fund pioneering research and life-saving treatments.
Whether you're aiming for the top of the activity leaderboards or simply looking for an opportunity to support an incredible cause, every contribution makes a difference.
