Jog 31 Miles in January for my Grandad
Last year I took part in the Banham Marsden March and this year I wanted to challenge myself again.
Unfortunately my Grandad is still sadly battling cancer. My Grandad is a strong, protective, and a loving person. He makes us laugh and is always there for us no matter where we are or what time of the day.
It’s important to me that I challenge myself as much as I can, especially for my family. My grandad served as a commando in the Army, he happily took on a responsibility alongside my granny of looking after my uncle with Down syndrome and learning difficulties which meant he worked as many hours possible to support his family. He did this in a heartbeat and was by his side for 25 years! My grandads character is to always support our family, and even while battling his cancer, he is always thinking of us and making us smile.
