In Loving Memory of My Father-in-law and Mother
Wednesday 6th AugThis September, I’ll be running/walking 50K in memory of my beloved father-in-law, who we sadly passed away two months before after losing courageous fight against cancer and also for my mother whom I lost 10 years ago fighting against cancer.
My father-in-law was a man of great strength and will power while suffering from cancer. He will be always remembered as person with kindness, and unwavering love for his family. Watching him fight with such dignity and grace was both heart breaking and inspiring.
My mother was a very loving person and always looking after the family keeping them all in tight knit. Her calm and patient nature was very inspiring and made us learn about endurance and resilience.
Both of their journey has left a lasting impact on all of us, and I want to channel that grief into something meaningful.
I’m raising funds to support cancer research and care so that others facing this fight can have hope, better treatment, and more time with their loved ones. Every step I take in this run/walk will be for them, and for everyone affected by this disease.
