With knees and ankles like mine, running a marathon is firmly off the table. So instead, I’m doing the only sensible thing… walking one. Eight hours of steady plodding, questionable decisions, and probably a fair bit of complaining.

But the reason I’m doing the Marsden Trek is no joke. Cancer has impacted my family hard over the years, and the sad truth is that it will touch all of us, directly or indirectly, at some point in our lives. This walk is my way of honouring those we’ve lost, supporting those still fighting, and celebrating those surviving while helping the Royal Marsden continue their incredible work.
