September 50k
Sunday 10th Aug Hello :)Thanks for visiting my sponsorship page. I'm really looking forward to completing the 50k walk in September to raise money for the Royal Marsden.
I'm hoping to complete the 50k over a couple of different routes. Some of the routes will be in the UK but a couple will also be in Madeira, where I'll be spending a week next month.
This will be a bit of a personal challenge for me as well, as I haven't done any hiking outside of the UK before and the routes themselves will be different to what I'm used to. Fingers crossed that all goes well!
I've decided to take part in the walk because this is a really worthwhile sponsorship supporting research into cancer, treatments, as well as providing support for people undergoing treatment. Like lots of other people, my family has been affected by cancer diagnosis and treatment in the past and this is another reason that I've decided to take part.
I'll post some updates on routes, as well as some pictures, later on if anyone is interested to take a look.
