50K for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity ❤️

There are some losses you never really recover from.

Cancer has taken people from me who were deeply, painfully dear to my heart. And when they left, they took pieces of me with them. Life carried on because it had to, but a part of me remained behind, in memories, in unanswered questions, in the moments when I still instinctively wish I could pick up the phone and hear their voice again.

There is a particular kind of pain in losing someone to cancer. You watch someone you love become weaker. You pray. You hope. You bargain with God. You hold on to every little bit of hope you can find. And then sometimes, despite everything, you have to say goodbye.

And the world keeps moving.

But yours has changed forever.

The void remains. Some days it is quiet. Other days it feels impossibly deep.

That is why I am doing this 50K Challenge for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

I am doing it for the people I have loved and lost. For the memories that will never fade. For the families sitting beside hospital beds, praying for more time. For those fighting with everything they have. And for the hope that one day, fewer people will have to experience this kind of heartbreak.

Every kilometre will carry a memory.
Every step will carry someone I miss.
And every donation will be a small act of love towards someone else’s tomorrow.

I cannot bring the people I have lost back. But I can walk for them.

Please help me make every step count. ❤️
