Shortest walking day
Friday 19th Sep Always knew today would be the shortest day walking as needed to drive 384km from Santa Barbara to Monterey, but at least got very close to the 100km mark now!!!! Share
Santa Barbara Brewery Walk
Thursday 18th Sep What a lovely place Santa Barbara is to walk and explore! 2nd longest distance of the hol so far and included popping into a couple of local brewery's along the way! Share
Driving today, but not included in my walking distance!!!!
Wednesday 17th Sep Still managed a decent amount of km today with walking in Santa Monica, along muscle beach, before a bit more when we arrived in Santa Barbara after driving from LA! Share
Day 5-Not a wrong turn!
Tuesday 16th Sep Today's walk included a stop off at a very recognisable cafe, and don't worry we are still on the west coast of the US, as this programme was never actually filmed in New York, where it was set!!! Share
Famous Walk included...
Tuesday 16th Sep Today saw my walk include one of the most famous walks in the world...The Hollywood Walk of Fame! I also hit the 50k target..that's right...by day 4 on holiday! Delighted and why stop at 50km? Im now going for 50miles! Share
San Diego all walked out!
Monday 15th Sep Another 15km walked today which takes my San Diego total to 44km! I've impressed myself!!! Would have been a bit further however the odd brewery or two slowed us down at times!
Day 2- USS Midway
Saturday 13th Sep Slower day today however walk round exploring a US aircraft carrier helped get in my steps!!! Share
