31 Miles in January
Thursday 1st JanThis January, I’m setting myself a personal challenge: running 31 miles in 31 days — one mile every day.
For some people, that might not sound like a big deal. But for a self-confessed couch potato like me, this is huge.
In 2023, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, and throughout my diagnosis and treatment I received incredible care and support from the clinicians and CNS team at The Royal Marsden. Their expertise, kindness, and reassurance meant more to me than I can put into words.
Now, I’d love to give something back.
Every mile I run is a small thank you to the team who helped me through one of the toughest periods of my life. If you’re able to donate — no matter how small — it would mean the world to me and will help The Royal Marsden continue their life-changing work.
Thank you so much for your support, encouragement, and generosity ❤️
Let’s see if this couch potato can do it!
