Day 10!

Saturday 10th Jan
A HUGE thank you to those of you who have donated and supported me so far!
Today I reached half way to my planned donation goal. Considering it is Day 10, I am thrilled - thank uou all!

Today was a beautifully crisp day for a run and I felt increased strength in my legs - and more volume in my lungs! What a way to start the New Year. I have loved having this challenge to motivate me to start the year with positive intention.

Looking ahead, the weather looks rubbish!! I will absolutely keep all your messages and generosity at the forefront of my mind - to encourage me to keep going!

Only 21 more days to go!

Finally, a huge thanks for my running buddy Sarah Tommis keeping me accountable. A true heroine herself for so many reasons - I couldn’t be happier to run alongside her!

Day 1

Thursday 1st Jan
Hi Everyone!

Today marks the first day of this challenge - running 1 mile a day for the 31 days of January in support of the Royal Marsden.
I’m sure plenty of you will have family members or friends who have had to fight cancer. I certainly have - and still do. As such, this charity really means a great deal.

Plus, it has the added bonus of kicking off my return to fitness having hidden in the shadows of my walk run rehab programme!! (I appreciate it’s not a ground breaking difference, but keen to help raise the profile and support incredible people like @spashtommis.

So if you’d like to sponsor me in support of the charity that does so much for so many, I’d be eternally grateful!
