Back into training after a week's holiday. Darker and chillier in the mornings, but very beautiful. 3 times around Purley Way playing fields today <3 

Meet Jeanette

Saturday 15th Aug
This is Jeanette, Toni's friend, who is currently receiving treatment at the Royal Marsden. She is an incredible source of strength for all of us. Jeanette was recently diagnosed with cancer. Over the past few weeks, she has undergone radiotherapy and has now started chemotherapy.

Jeanette's mindset is one of acceptance; she acknowledges her situation and believes that it doesn't have to change her spirit. She continues to look after her family and friends, as well as the sweet old,  lady Marion who is sharing a room with her, taking time to care for her, too!
Update - Sadly, Marion has passed away, but Jeanette has asked me to include her in my dedication too.

I am walking 26 miles to support Jeanette and many others, while also remembering my father-in-law, Frank. Please support me, no matter how small the contribution.
