We're taking part in the Big Marsden Trek

I’m supporting The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. 

When Dad was at his most ill with melanoma back in 2009/2010, the Royal Marsden were there for him. He was due to start on a trial for what has since become a revolutionary treatment. Unfortunately, his cancer was too far advanced, but their care and kindness was second to none.

So my brother and I are walking for Dad, but also for cancer care and advances experienced by other friends at the Marsden, and for those who might need it in the future. 

I'm also not underestimating how hard this might be. I ruptured my calf muscle at the end of April and spent 5 weeks on crutches...this will be quite the test of its recovery (and likely my resolve)!

So if you'd like to support me, I'd be so grateful. By donating to my page, their nurses, doctors, and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments. Together, we can save the lives of cancer patients everywhere.

Good Luck. I did my calf muscle after 2 miles of the 2012 London Marathon. I hobbled to the finish, but got beaten down the final stretch by a guy in a Rhino suit!! Have fun doing it. Great cause.
