50km for dad
Wednesday 27th Aug On May 3rd 2021, I lost my dad to liver cancer. It’s the biggest honour to be the child of someone who is so widely associated with bringing love, laughs and care to everyone who knew him, loved him or simply crossed his path.Everyday I strive to make him proud, and I use any opportunity to talk about him, though words will never do justice to the immense love we lost.
The Royal Marsden cared for my dad for 10 years, through 2 forms of cancer…without them, we could’ve lost him much sooner and missed out on precious years of memories. I’d like to contribute to giving other families, kids and partners the same opportunity.
