Sunday 14th Sep Earlier this hear, a person close to my heart discovered to have a sheath nerve tumor, a relatively rare tumor that grows slowly but can put life at risk if close to vital organ. This was the case, it was close to the hearth, spinal cord and esophagus. We didn't know where to start to ask for support. Or simply how long would it take to get it sorted.Luckily we had private insurance and earlier this month the surgery was successful. But the idea that somebody else in our situation without the same opportunity should be without support is unacceptable. That is why I took the challenge to walk 50km in September to support Royal Marsden Charity in their mission. Every donation is worth it. Every cent you donate goes to this charity directly. Every donation you can make, can help someone struggling with similar challenges.
