Halfway there

Tuesday 15th Sep
It’s half way into September and so far I’m on track. 
I had a slow weekend because I had a lazy weekend but will get back into walking. 
I completed a .5mile run 🏃🏽‍♀️ so far - was very challenging but I’m glad to have done something small. 
I’ve been enjoying my scenic walks back from work. 
It’s time for me to start fundraising now!

Why am I doing this ?

Thursday 3rd Sep
I did not make the 50k last year and I want to try again. 
The courage and bravery of those fighting cancer are battling everyday and walking/running/wheeling 50k is not comparable. If I could show an ounce of determination they do, then I should. 
I experienced loss to cancer for the first time in 2022 and since then, her bravery and strength helps me be better. 
The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity does meaningful and impactful research and I’m certain they contributed to the care of Melissa whilst she was still with us. As they continue to advance and support families and patients, I would like to do my part also! 
it’s 50km over a month !
