A huge thank you for all the donations so far! 
I am prepped and ready to embark on a mindful 31 miles… 
This is more than a charity fundraiser for me. 
It’s an opportunity to reflect on a year which has been surreal. 
I never imagined I would be one of the statistics, one of the 50% of the population diagnosed with cancer. Not least to be diagnosed with breast cancer, an area of nursing I have spent the majority of my career working in. 
I strive to give back, to the organisation where I have been treated and continue to receive care in, to my amazing colleagues and friends and to the patients I care for. 
The gratitude is heartfelt, the drive is undeniable. Bring on the next challenge… x
