We're taking part in this challenge to support The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity in memory of our dear brother/uncle Mark. They ensure The Royal Marsden’s world-leading nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world.

In a slightly different challenge we are aiming to lift 20,000 reps of solid weight (no junk reps allowed).  To make it even more fun (!) we will each travel 156 miles which is the same distance from our home to the Royal Marsden Chelsea, four times, the same amount Mark travelled to the Royal Marsden by ambulance.

The Royal Marsden's incredible team treated Mark who developed an incredibly rare cancer, NUT Carcinoma.  The critical care, Wilson Ward, Radiography and Sarcoma teams were all incredible.  Sadly there is no cure for this cancer as it's so rare and doesn't get much funding. We are hoping this can help others after cancer cruelly took Mark, age 36, in February 2024.  We miss him every day.

Our son is going to help for the first time this year and wants to run 31 miles in January, to raise much needed funds.
